Wands

In Folk and Ceremonial magic, practitioners use several magical tools including wands for the channeling of energy. A wand is used to invite or encourage mystical energies, in certain ways.

Though traditionally made of wood, wands can also be created from metal, crystal or bone.

In Wicca the wand usually represents the element air, although some woods such as willow can be used under the element of water. The wand is most often used by modern Pagans, witches, Shamans and others in rituals, healing and spell casting.
